This is your life visualized if you live until 81 years old.
Life calendars have become extremely popular, mainly consistently of people marking off how many weeks they’ve already lived compared to life expectancies. Sounds depressing, right? It may be, but life calendars provide insights into the most brutal truth in life – our time here is limited. This spreadsheet goes beyond a life calendar, allowing you to visualize where and how you spend your time, such as time spent in work, sleep, school, leisure screen time, and many more.
The default numbers in this life calendar are national averages. Everyone’s life looks different, so I created a feature where you can input the average hours a day and choose which days out of the week you do that activity. To go even further, you can set what age you start and what age you’ll end in each category. With this advanced customization, you can get your life calendar to reflect your life accurately.
Why did I create this? Good question, 70%-80% of your life is already decided for you. It is what we do within that 70%-80% that makes life meaningful. Your stressful job is more than just stress, it’s taking away moments you could be enjoying. That new job with a longer commute is more than just a financial change in your life. I enjoyed creating my life calendar and found that it really is the small moments in life that are everything.
